Brothers For Life

marcusbrewster has conducted all PR activities for Brothers for Life, the national campaign that aims to get men to live healthier, more responsible lives, since its inception in August 2009. This has encompassed a wide variety of activities around subjects such as multiple and concurrent sexual partnerships, gender-based violence, parenthood, male medical circumcision, health and other issues, as well as campaigns centred around the FIFA 2010 World Cup South Africa™.

Kelly Rowland

marcusbrewster was responsible for promoting Kelly Rowland and Everywhere You Go, the FIFA 2010 World Cup South Africa™-linked song commissioned by tournament sponsor MTN, in the run-up to the football showpiece. This former Destiny’s Child member and her song, featuring collaborations by some of Africa’s leading musicians, consequently enjoyed significant attention during her visit to South Africa.

The Travel Corporation

The Travel Corporation has grown into one of the world’s largest travel and tourism companies, and includes such famous brands as Contiki, Insight Vacations, Thompsons, Pentravel and Hylton Ross in its portfolio. marcusbrewster is responsible for all aspects of its PR, from product announcements to press communications and thought leadership.

Emerald Cup 2010

The Emerald Cup is a weekend-long festival of racing that culminates in the horse race of the same name, which is Africa’s richest race on sand. Over the years marcusbrewster has played a critical role in publicising the event and drawing tens of thousands of spectators – and last year’s festival, the seventh, was no exception.
